We at ServiceChannel are excited to bring you 2021 Release 3 (“R3”), slated for release this summer. A summary of the new features impacting providers is listed here.

NEW Provider Profile (USA only)

Your profile information is used in the new search functionality for customers to find providers like you. With the new profile you can showcase greater details on your business to attract new customers and get invited to do work for them. You can include:

  • Trade based capabilities/questions

  • Improved coverage management: show which trades you cover in specific geographic areas.

  • Coverage Maps included in your profile

Impress potential customers with information you provide, plus your verified ServiceChannel track record, including:

  • Comprehensive details about your activity

  • Historic work order data, by trade (up to 3 years)

  • Verified service coverage

  • General business information

  • Quality Score

  • Check-Ins, Recall % and First Time Fix %

  • Speed Score

  • On-time Arrival/Completion/Check-in

  • Timely Response/Dispatch

  • Time to Location

NEW!  Invitations  (USA only)

The Invitations workflow is being fully redesigned so you will see more information on customer needs like trades, locations, WO count, priority frequency, and scheduled maintenance needs. You’ll get email messages with better information, allowing you to assess customer needs in relation to your capacity and availability.

Make sure you update your profile to give a complete, accurate description of your business so customers can find you and invite you to work with them.

The Proposals List is Redesigned! (Worldwide)

Fewer clicks, more visible data, real-time filtering

Now, more in line with the Work Order and Invoice Lists, comes the redesigned Proposals List!

The new Proposals List comes with a cleaner user interface that provides you with better visibility into proposal data. Clicking the Proposals menu now leads straight to the redesigned list — 2 clicks less than before. From here, you will see the most important information placed first and visually highlighted for each proposal.

With this redesign, you can now filter proposals in real-time, and hone in on the ones you need to take action on without going back to the search page. You will also be able to filter by amount, save filters, and mark a saved filter as your default filter.

Finally, to ease navigation we have also separated RFPs into a separate menu item. Note that RFPs are still in the legacy list format.

Give the new Proposal List a try! Toggle your view from the View / Process Proposals page to see the new view.

Dynamically Select Work Order Note Recipients (Worldwide)

Now you can dynamically search for and select work order note recipients. Addressees are pinned to the top of the list for an easier view.

First WO Note Now Lists Original NTE (Worldwide)

When a work order is first dispatched, the first work order note will also list the original NTE. This gives you better visibility into tracking work order costs.

Enjoy this feature on release day!  Please note that some customers may decide to turn this feature off, but we expect the vast majority of customers to enable this functionality.

Resolution and Root Cause Codes (USA only)

Now you and your technicians can give customers a better understanding of your work using free-text fields to describe the root cause of a problem, and how the work order was resolved.  Learn More. link to SCU article
