During repair or maintenance service calls, there may come a time when parts are not available or not even associated with the inventory catalog. With permission and a set NTE amount, you can purchase parts directly without any assistance. This provides you with direct access to request parts and reduces the amount of time having those parts readily available.

Exceeding NTE Limit

There is NTE limit on the amount an FTM can approve and issue a parts purchasing request. When an order has exceeded the limit, the purchase request will not go through.

  1. Click the Inventory icon to enter Inventory.
  2. Click the Create Transfer link to expand the list.
  3. Click the Request Transfer link to start the request.

  4. Select a location.
  5. Click the Purchase Order link to create a request.

  6. Click the Create a Non-Catalog Part link to fill out the form.

  7. Add at least the required information on the form.
  8. Click the Create and Add to Cart link to submit the request.

  9. Select a destination location and number of parts.
  10. Click the submit button to finalize the request.
