Projects under Service Automation Administration gives users access to  supports how a user is able to perform in the Projects Module to manage their location's project. Admin users have Projects offers the ability to control project approvers, project rules, types & categories, and general configurations. Having Permissions gives you full access while Project Approval Levels and Project Approval Rules dictates how much authority you have within the module.

Project and Financial Manager in Service Automation

To obtain access to Projects Module, Users need at least Project Manager or Financial Manager to be added to their secondary role under Permissions in Service Automation Admin. Having Financial Manager add:

  • Project Reviewers. 
  • Project Approvers. 
  • Project Rules. 
  • Types & categories
  • General configuration.

Having Project Manager, Financial Manager, Financial Manager Admin, Admin access in Service Automation

Having the Project Manager permission allows you to access the Project Module to create, manage, and review projects. Having Financial Manager and Financial Manager Admin access gives users the ability to create Budgets for projects and pre-approve the Budget for a single project. Adding the role would be under Admin-Permissions. Once permission is granted, a user can add, control, manage, and remove projects in Projects Module.
