Features and improvements

Dashboard. In Dashboard 2.0, we’ve renamed your navigation tabs and the corresponding hamburger menu sections to make them look consistent.

Dashboard. Want to hide the location GPS radius info from the page for creating a service request? In Dashboard 2.0, it’s easy! Go to the Request tab of your dashboard settings, and select the Hide GPS Radius checkbox.

GeneralProvider Directory. Once providers join a subscriber’s private network, they cannot make edits to their business name, Social Security Number (SSN), or Employee Identification Number (EID) in their Directory profile as well as to their legal name on the W-9 Form. If any of this info needs to be updated, providers should send their request to support@servicechannel.com.

Planned Maintenance Manager. Take advantage of labels in the Planned Maintenance module! You can add labels to your PM services so that work orders get auto-generated with specific labels assigned. Talk to your ServiceChannel representative about having this feature enabled.

Bug fixes

Admin. Your checklist questions shouldn’t exceed 500 characters. When they do, you see an error message. But this time, it’s not as techy as before — it clearly explains the reason.

Compliance Manager. Because of an interface glitch on the page with your custom requirements, you couldn’t select which requirements to show: active, inactive, or both. The Show drop-down list looks good now and allows you to pick the desired option.

GeneralLocations & Provider Assignments. Filtering locations by provider rank and opting for the retired option gave you no results — although there were retired providers at some locations.

Invoices. Employees assigned to the final MLI approval level received notification alerts about invoices waiting for their review, but at some point emails stopped coming. From now on, we send reminders to final approvers every day until they take action on their invoices.

Invoices. Those providers who were required to submit line-item invoices couldn’t create an invoice with a zero total — the Send Invoice button on the page for creating an invoice was inactive. Zero totals are accepted now.

SC Provider. Technicians couldn’t find work orders assigned to them if WO locations had no latitude and longitude specified on the location details page.

Site Planning Manager. In case the “Veto” and “Ignore” values were written with its first letter in lowercase in the audit type template, the audit score was calculated incorrectly. Say goodbye to this issue! The letter case doesn’t affect the audit score anymore.

Work Orders. Providers couldn’t access the Work Order Assignment section and got redirected to the WorkForce login page instead. We rolled up our sleeves and restored the bridge to the assignment section.
